Homework Learning Center

 

The Learning Center will be operating again this year in the library. The Learning Center is a program which provides students a quiet place to do their homework, get help, and to have access to library resources. The Learning Center will be supervised by a teacher and high school and peer tutors who can provide homework assistance and guidance.

The Center will be open in the morning from 7:30-8:10A.M. Monday through Friday, and after school from 3:15-4:30P.M. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Students will be required to sign in and out and must stay for a minimum of 30 minutes in the afternoon. Students should bring all necessary materials to the Learning Center because they will not be allowed to go to their lockers and restrooms once they have signed in.  After school, the latest a student may enter is 4P.M. and the earliest a student may leave the Center is 3:45 pm.

Homework Center Rules

 

  1. Students must stay for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  2. The lastest a student may enter is 7:45 in the morning and 4:00 in the afternoon.
  3. Students must sign in and out of the Homework Center log.
  4. Students should use the restroom and get their supplies before entering the Homework Center.  There are no In and Out privileges.
  5. Computers are available for school work only.
  6. No food or drinks are allowed.
  7. Students must work quietly, focusing on school work and projects, not socializing.
