Parent Involvement

Parents are always welcomed at Westborough.  There are many ways for parents to get involved with the school including joining the PTA, volunteering to chaperone for field trips, helping out at special events at the school, or helping an individual teacher with a project or class activity.  Parents who wish to help chaperone on field trips do need to have a negative TB test on file and to have been fingerprinted and cleared for security.  Please contact the school main office for information on how to do this.

Westborough's PTA meets the second Wednesday of each month from 6:00-7:00 PM in our staff lounge or library.  Everyone is welcomed to attend any or all meetings.

Westborough's Site Council/ELAC Committee meets the third Monday of each month from 3:10-4:10 in the Conference room.  The committee is comprised of 6 teachers/staff members, 3 students, and 3 parents.  Parents are selected by fellow parents and serve for a two year term.  If you would like to run for one of these positions, please contact the principal at the beginning of each school year.  English Language Learners are represented on the Site Council (ELAC) by a parent.  Please call the principal if you would like to serve in this capacity.
